A modern young adult thriller that will give you Liane Moriarty vibes but it’s better because it’s gay.
Gossip Girl meets The Husband Secret and you have All Eyes on Us by Kit Frick. I genuinely enjoyed this suspense novel. I don’t normally like young adult suspense only because it never goes very far, and like… as an adult I’m not considering holding someone’s grades or SAT scores hostage as a viable reason for suspense. But when someone stars following Rosalie, a girl who must keep her girlfriend secret from her family, I’m interested.
Amanda lives a seemingly perfect life, but she keeps getting messages from a private number talking about how she needs to leave her cheating boyfriend, break up with him publicly, harassing her day in and day out.
Eventually these to girls are brought together, and face down their mysterious villain in a suspenseful climax.
This. Was. Fun. and exciting and GAY which makes it better tbh because gay is better. I really enjoyed the pacing of this book, reveals happened just at the right moment to keep you interested and keep you guessing. Highly recommend.
